Reason I A.I

Like many from the time I was a wee little lad, I loved comics, I loved books (specifically want to shout out Dragonlance, Wheel of Time, and Sword of Truth!) I loved the characters and stories they lived in some far-off fantasy world. Naturally as a youth, I wanted to see them come to life, the images and movies that were playing in my head I wanted into tangible form. 

So began my epic journey into art, I tried and failed, and tried and failed, and tried and failed. I failed so many times that the ghastly attempts i was surrounded with makes even v1 of the stable diffusion model look like an award winning masterpiece. 

This unfortunately, defeated my spirit for even attempting to draw. I couldnt hold a colored pencil without snapping it between my fingers ever so gingerly. Drawing and by extension art, something I had so many aspirations for, something I had read and visualized so many different things that I read and dreamed about, was something I just couldn't do. 

So I resigned myself to that fact and moved on but it wasn't until many years later that I actively moved computer science from my passion to my proffession. If you know me on a personal or proffessional level you are probably aware of how strubborn and relentless I can be when chasing a goal. Hand generated art, just made my hands hurt and tense and it wasnt for me. So for a long time, I was just the kid who read nonstop.
